Hi everyone,

Thought maybe some folks may want to see my trailer build. I started with the cheap $100.00 trailer on ebay. The spoke wheels that came with the trailer are grossly over rated for weight and I bent them on first ride. I upgraded to these wheels from amazon and the bearings need to be upgraded too. I also upgraded the axles using 5/8'' bolts and added regular tube tires for smoother ride. It works great.

Great mods. I just lined my trailer with ¼" plywood.

Sweet! how much top speed do you lose with it being a flat nose?

When at the trailer's 200 lbs limit; I lose some speed going up hill but gain a lot of speed going down hill lol

Not sure what they call this material, it is very thin, about an 1/8'' thick. They use on back of cabinets.

Those wire spokes would not hold a 20lb bag of cat food. that's what I was hauling when they bent. Dangerous to go fast with the trailer especially around corners. I cruze around 20 mph with trailer. Phatmoto don't know it's there.

The new plastic wheels were actually made for yard equipment. The bearings in those are made for lawn mowers. Easy to replace with good high speed bearings.
