Ocean scares me! 100ft from the beach is far enough for me.

I'm scared of the ocean. I lived in seaside Oregon 25-26 years ago with a ex in her dad's duplex 3 houses from the beach. Watching the power of the ocean during storms combined with high tide getting a lot closer to the houses than I ever saw scared me so much I left the house and drove inland a few miles. She made fun of me so much for that but I was really f-ing scared. I'm a desert and mountain boy, that ocean s**ts for the coast town weirdo's

Lovely weather in the winter. The two summers I spent there were awesome.

I spent my childhood swimming off the beaches of N. Carolina, going out well past the fishing piers and breakwater. Being afraid of the ocean is hard for me to fathom. Looking back, that part of the E. Coast is known for some pretty strong undercurrents and riptide... probably wasn't the best idea lol.

Well I put a 1000 watt controller on the motor and it still didn't have any torque, I'm going to look for a different motor and maybe just run it straight to the rear wheel without my sad attempt at a freewheel crank

Side note I got my garage heater built, it works pretty well.
