On a side note, that head you have on the engine is garbage. They are known for cooking motors since they don't have jack for cooling fins. I'd either swap on a stock slant head or throw on a cheap CDH "racing" head.
When the bike is topping out at 8-12 mph, what kind of sounds is it making? Is it kinda sputtering like it's only firing every other time or is it more of a hollow "bwahh" sound?
