Hi I’m new to motorised bikes I bought an engine about a month ago and it’s always had a rattle when you let off the throttle any ideas what it could be?

Ant hills don't count...lol.
My bike will send me up a hill like that at 27 mph with a 36 tooth sprocket on a 26-in rear wheel with a 700C on the front

What is a higher end 2 stroke for a bicycle? Aren't they all cheap?
They are only as cheap as the porting jobs and casting imperfections on the intake and transfer ports if you file those down nice and smooth you should have absolutely zero issues just make sure that you deburr the cylinder when you're done so that the rings don't catch on the sharp edges

I can easily do 40 up the foothills of the mountains I'm surrounded by with my 36 tooth 26 inch tires beachcruiser with a Phantom 85...This is no big whoop whoop around here, quite a few of us are able to do this on a regular basis...lol.
