Same for me. My mom has a picture from when I was in first grade. My hair almost looked white. Then the ginger and yellow started to appear.

I DO wish I could get real Birch Beer here in the desert, I actually like that even better than root beer, but no one has it out here in the southwest, I always had it readily available back in New England.
