Avenger 85 question

All stock, pulled great, never went over 9k rpm because of break-in. Have a new cylinder on order.
Where did you get you cylinder from? One of the wrist pins come broke or something. Oh and my magneto wasn't centered either.

The magnetos on these little engines is never centered from the factory
I think I have got the only magneto that was ever absolutely on center right out of the box...That was with the brand new Phantom 85 V-3 I just got this month, I was absolutley shocked, I was also shocked to find zero metal fillings in the bottom half as well...lol...lol.

My bottom end had no filings, but my magneto was off center.

Could you explain its a avenger 85
Yes I can. Typical transfers and piston of a CG.

Your transfers have a cut out at the bottom.

Your piston already makes a provision for that with the bottom half+ of the piston missing.

The typical CG engine needs a hole at the bottom of the transfers for the fresh charge to travel up, whereas the avenger engine doesn't need the hole as the charge will use the gap along side the piston to get to the transfers. HTH.
