What up everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas, I know I did.... I have a question, if I was to do some light port work to my avenger, what should I do? Should I lower the exhaust a little, I see that when the piston is all the way down you can not see the top of piston thru the exhaust port and the same with the intake side when the piston is all the way up. So does that mean I shouldn't do any port work? Little new to this so please bear with me.. the squish gap is . 8 so that seems good... Thanks for all your help

Here is some pictures with piston all the way down and up. And should I use the 16mm carb that came with the wildcat 80, up carb or just use the one that came with it

Finally got around to checking my cylinder to find out why mine died. Looks like I had a few pieces of casting come loose. Better clean it up as much as possible!

Ok thanks and I plan on doing that. Looks pretty clean but I'm still gonna do it. How did yours run? All stock?

All stock, pulled great, never went over 9k rpm because of break-in. Have a new cylinder on order.

All you should do right now is round off the inner edge of the ports, you can use sandpaper for that. Then rinse it out with a some clean mixed fuel. The exhaust side looks perfect, so need to change anything there.

I'm curious what the business side of the head looks like? Do you have a picture of that?

I plan on getting the one from gomax soon but here is the stock one
