A very simple solution for RS68 requirements

I see no reason I would have any trouble. My rear light is tail/brake in one and its led and I have an 12v sealed battery and onboard charging system, so I'm not exactly sure why you think my lighting system wouldn't pass RS68 requirements if that cheap light that runs on disposable batteries would pass.

You misunderstand. I never said your lighting system would not meet RS68 approval. I said your lighting system alone without a tag will not save you from getting a ticket.

If you don't feel that it's good enough for you, that's fine. No one is twisting your arm to buy the thing.

I'm not sure if I'm going to register or not. I am planning to move back to PA next year. If I get a ticket, I will probably register. Till then I'll just ghost pedal or something, and if a cop pulls me over I'll say the engine is just for getting up hills.
