I need to bring my Tundra by for a paint job! Nice work. You are being a wonderful example of enjoying the journey, while focusing on the destination. The harder the effort, the greater the reward.

Chris the bike looks great! I like the paint, I was going to go with the same except the white pinstripes don't come out good with shaky hands.

Quenton Auto Clutch

Thanks Chainmaker, I haven't decided whether or not to tackle the pinstriping on this myself or let a professional do it. Because of all the problems I had with the paint on the Phantom, I am keeping the paint minimal on this bike.
I've installed my new Quenton auto clutch and have taken it out for a few brief testing runs yesterday and today. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Quenton told me that it takes a while to break it in, and it's a bit slow out of the gate, but I was able to acheive 31 mph today! That's only a little under the top speed this bike was getting before.
No squealing at all with this clutch! I have a rear kevlar belt on this set up right now and don't want to change anything just yet because this is just my mock up bike and everything will be different on the other bike. ( chain, crank, sprockets....)
I'm adding a brief video of the bike running with the new Quenton clutch. Sorry for the poor quality and it doesn't really show alot. It just shows it works basically.

Seat Reastoration

I just got my seat back today from restoration! Here are some before and after pics of the seat. I came across this Persons seat 2 months ago on eBay. I realized the potential of this seat when I saw the dimensions were nearly the same as the seats on the newer Whizzers. 13"L x 12"W. Picked this seat up for $15 and had it shipped straight to Seat restorer Bob U in Calf. She's a real beauty and will be a real center piece on this bike! I also picked up this minivan yesterday for transport and camping at the show in Portland less than 2 months away!

Size Matters

Wanted to add a few more pics for size comparison. Tan Phantom seat is a full size adult seat! Is anyone else having trouble seeing the photo's?

Your seat turned out incredible. You could have told me it was a brand new one and I'd have never thought otherwise. I got my center stand mounted and am waiting for some replacement bearings to arrive before I can mount my motor. My kit had the wrong size bearings in it. Have made several trips to Fastenal for additional nuts and bolts. Every bike is different and I'm mounting this on an all aluminum 29er so I'm making adjustments in my mount to work around having to drill holes in the frame anywhere.

Tank

I've had a lot of difficulties lately with getting the paint right on this bike and with car problems. I hate to admit it , but I've had problems with almost every aspect of this build. The custom decals I was going to use on the tank didn't work out as planned so I opted for the old fashion whizzer decals. I've never been a big fan of those , but I have to admit I like the look of these on the chrome tank!
It rained here in Indiana everyday for the last couple weeks and I've re painted this bike 3 times but continue to have problems with it. I may have to go with just plain black.
I've installed a reese hitch and motorbike carrier on my van and was able to finally get it all together and take a little test drive. I paid like $89 at Walmart and it's solid as a rock. I was a little worried this would move around a lot but it was very solid. Picture below is with my test bike.
