Hello All.

My father has recently passed and he has left me, among other things, a vintage Whizzer motorbike. The bike frame itself is a Columbia. The engine is, iirc, from the mid 50s (although I may be confusing this with another build he had and sold).

I'll continue to search for documentation on this but any help/info is appreciated. I will also be selling the bike (not immediately but in a few months) so any interest is welcome.

Engine is labeled as WME007067

1999-2004 New Generation WC-1 Whizzer Engine Made in Taiwan

WC-1 138cc 4 stroke side valve

Got it so I likely confused this with his old build.

Is there a source like a VIN/Number decoder for these?

Engine #007067 it was the 7,067 engine made

Production bike had a serial# ID badge Vin # with date code
Taiwan production was not accurate and Engine# did not match Serial # but only on a few bikes
Some engines after 2005 didn't even have a serial# stamped on them

No source to look up serial#s or Vin#

Shame it's not an actual vintage engine. I noticed it looked a bit newer but was unsure.

He had two previously, one was a late 40s engine iirc? In a reproduction board track racer frame. The other was iirc mid 50s and was in a bike frame like this.

Any idea what might be the going price for this setup? I don't have room for it so sadly will have to part ways

If ya got the electrical harness, and exhaust pipe you engine is worth about $150 - $200 maybe more, it's used
Bike $150 is my guess

I like the colors. Looks good.

Anyways I appreciate the help. Will see if I can find the header, and the wiring. Pedals are in bucket out of frame. Will probably end up posting here for sale

People will pay more on E bay

Some guys ask for and get crazy money for Whizzer stuff on E bay
Good Luck

It's worth what someone is willing to pay. You might be able to get 1000 bucks out of it on ebay if you slap some of the parts back on it.
