Twins!

Ray, the previous page has a video of this bike's motor and auto clutch running. Here's a couple of pics of my bikes as I struggle to get these done in time for Portland friday!

Taking home the Gold!!!

Today was a good day today in Portland, IN, as both Quenton Guenther and I took home 1st place in our respective categories! Quenton won for the Peoples choice Open class (1st) and I won the Best Restored Junior Class (1st)
Can't believe I won when you look at the other bikes in my class. The was a bike with a Smith motor wheel, A Dyna cycle, and a marman Twin!
Here are a few pics of our bikes at Portland.

Those ARE 2 two VERY nice bikes! Winning against that much competition, in a National Show, and the votes coming from other registered club members you should be very proud! You did a lot of very nice work on an old weathered bike, turning it into a show winner!
Quentins bike is also very nice. You don't see many like that around, I have heard that the guy who designed and then sent those to production was the very FIRST to do a true drop-loop frame in this field?

Congratulations to you both, I am impressed!

Mike

Thanks Mike,
For your kind comments. No surprise that Quenton won 1st place in his category, but I was surprised I won for mine. As you know it takes a lot of time and money to complete a project like this so it was cool to get a little recognition at Portland.
Chris

Hey Chris, how did that particular bike rack work out for you, I am looking for one and I see that one and the harbor freight one being g used.
