Spray paint can't really get deep within the cooling fins on a NE-5 cyl
When trying to do so, the paint will build up too thick on the cooling fin edges
I'll spray paint onto a small paint brush to get deep withing the cooling fins Then I'll spray paint the cyl

Ralph's cast iron jug nice. This last one will stay stock with the 24mm intake valve and 22mm exhaust valve. I already have one of Ralph's biggest valves cylinder, I'm thinking I'll add the 1/8 over piston to it. For now I'll put it over in the corner with the other pile of jugs.

I'm not sure if I'll use Ralph's head, or the first NE head. Definitely Whizzers 22mm carburetor, still looking into which cam.

Ya still gotta get those valve guides knocked in and reamed to size & the valve seats cut or ground
Hone the cyl so PREG is .012"

If the Westman head is of good quality (some weren't) use it because of taller cooling fins, it looks better and the combustion chamber should already be high compression But I'm sure you'll fine tune that

Which cams ya got besides the NE-5 and the Cruzzer (butterfly logo) Both of those have the same lift
Except the Cruzzer cam timing dot is stamped in the correct spot and don't need to be advanced one tooth like the Whizzer NE-5 cam
Do you got cams with higher lift than those ? Bigger valves higher lift cam

Looking good it's gonna be a winner (y)
