Using Bike Shifter??

Wouldn’t the power and torque burn up the bike cassette eventually?

Power yes, but torque is a maybe. Humans can put out staggering amounts of torque for very brief periods, even non athletes can do it by just standing on the pedals. So the components are expected to handle a good bit of torque for a very short time. The greatest concern is much higher speed greatly increasing the friction causing premature wear.

I got a new carb, exhaust, CDI, and spark plug so I'm going to install all that and see where we stand. Might take the engine apart and clean stuff up, heard these engines aren't super well polished. Just trying to get this engine to go as fast as possible at mid throttle and seeing if I cant get the power at lower RPMs up. Car broke down and getting a new one is seeming impossible and this bike is all I have now.
