me n azvinnie have 2 dax's and one dead livefast and they are very different ...everything is similar, but not quite the same

related... but different.

I replaced most of the bolts on my motor (GEBE25) after about a month, switching from cheap metal phillips heads to stainless steel allen headed bolts. SO MUCH BETTER! I did have to make a small concession w/ the bolts that hold my carb on where I could only find Torx25 headed bolts w/ the correct length and thread pitch. The Allen heads are matched on all bike multi tools and I'm pretty sure the Alien II multi comes w/ the Torx I need.

Tom, I looked at my second Dax engine and there is but one washer and the acorn nut. You were probably right in assuming that they got a batch of oversized studs and just used 'em anyway.
