I would love to have a motorized bike to have some, if not complete functionality as a dirt bike, and there's no harm in wanting it to look like one. I have that x-games bike and it has a good suspension, but there's no room for my 66cc 
There is one flippin bar where there should be a triangle!!! I will be following this thread closely. I suggest making homemade fairings out of fiberglass and painting them as you wish. You'd have to be rich to cannibalize any other vehicle just for its aesthetics IMO
That bike looks kinda like it would have trouble being a dirt bike with the hard tail, there's no problem with that if you're going for aesthetics only though

Well just aesthetics.. I don't have any intentions on doing anything serious like going off road.

I think I found the build I'll work with.... I'm thinking of a cruiser or longer bodied mountain bike frame, a chopper fork, banana seat and two fenders one I'll attach to the seat to give it that vintage curved rear fender look.. like this 50cc here
