Whizzer 2 speed hub

Will a 2 speed hub. Either sturmey archer or blue red kick back underdrive hub work on a 1950 schwinn whzzer bike.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Take the wheel and hub to a local bike shop. Some bike shops won't work on a wheel if it's off a motorized bike, so just bring it in and tell them what you want done.

I would put the Sturmey archer 3 speed IGH with the Drum brake. Then it will look almost factory!!! But remember your 2 or 3 speed IGH will only work with the pedals. It wont shift with a whizzer drive belt.

1950 Whizzer Sportsman had the Bimatic 2 speed clutch

Some guys customized their Whizzer to use the British 3 speed Abalon Transmission
Rear of the frame was extended so the Abalon Trans could be mounted
