Steps before an engines first start

In my research into 2/4 stroke engines i saw that for two stroke engines there are multiple steps that should be taken before the first start but i havent found anything similar for 4 strokes.
Any guidance or a link to where this has been asked before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I suggest you check valve lash, oil level, and coil gap before starting. Otherwise there is alot less to do on a 4 stroke

ill just install the bluetooth mod so i can use the gas remotely, problem solved

thanks for ur response, i figured setup was simpler just wanted to make sure before i wreck something lol
