Lower frame mounting

In my research of friction drive motors it seems most of them require a through bolt axle for the lower brackets, I have a quick release axle and no desire to change it(I already have a trailer hitch mounted as I pull a doggie trailer most of the time) Can the lower supports be clamped to the frame instead and if so, can anybody show me how they did theirs?

The struts on the Staton kit mount to the fender stays, not the axle.

Fivestar got it right. You need to use a frame where generally there are 2 threaded mounting holes right near the rear axle slot. The bottom of the supports will bolt up to one of those.
