Quick release Cargo Trailer: (do it yourself)

re: new era

Yeah "change" is here (bankruptcy and the lemming march into national economic collapse).

Then there will be national recovery (i'm treading carefully re; politics)
People don't want to be poor, but you don't have to be poor to use economical and small vehicles.

Cheers.

I did alot of reading on trailers for bikes last night.

One Web page really sticks in my mind. I can't believe it but this guy was pulling two Kyacks! It was pretty cool! We're about to see the dawn of a new era in this Country, I've got a feeling.

Has anybody used those Kiddy Trailer bike type seatpost mounts? You can get replacements separately from Nashbar etc.

Has anybody used Wheelchair wheels? This might help with tire changes and stability (canted wheels)

I like the bob-type trailers, but I don't have any right now. Just remember they are top heavy and can cause axle damage if overloaded or improperly secured.

The best bike trailers I've seen (home made) used a common rear rack as a hitch point, and were made from old bicycle parts (forks and wheels from kid bikes, with recumbent slicks) and some handy welding.

The dry box is a good idea. You can always take the top off for tall items.
