Bike is Runnin'
Hey all! My motorized bike is up and running! I'm very pleased.
I must say that the build went smoothly because of the great information here. Thanks everyone!
My bike is an older cruiser and I found that it had a bent axle in the back wheel. Not wanting to fool around too much with it, I replaced it with a Worksman wheel. It is a very good wheel. Heavy, but good. However, I had to replace the sprocket (human-powered one) on the new wheel because the chain size was too small for the Worksman one. But that was a simple exercise.
