Necessary tools for installation

If your budget is also that tight you can check into local pawn shops and thrift stores too. I have picked up some cheapo hand tools for cheap roadside tool kits to keep in my cars/trucks over the years.
I've found some really nice older tools at second hand stores. There is a lot of junk too so you have to really look at what you are buying.

Metric sizes you will need to work on these engines and most bicycles. 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, and sometimes a 19mm. I would get both standard and deep sockets in 3/8 drive.

I would also get a 1/4 drive torque wrench and a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter. 2.5, 3, 4, 5, and 6mm Allen wrenches (also occasionally an 8mm is needed). Then your basic 1 and 2 Phillips and a couple of standards. Torx bits/wrenches may also pop up from time to time on bikes.

That tool kit would be a good start.
Needle nose pliers and deep sockets will be needed also.
If you have amazon account you can get the oddball stuff like a chain breaker and a 1/4 inch torque wrench.

Don't forget the BFH!
