Seems most of these problems come down to either air leaks or loose head gaskets. Of course there are many other things that could go wrong but if you check and double check most problems end up being air leaks.

Get a spray bottle with some water and when it revs out, mist down the connections between carb and cylinder.

Most people's issues usually are lol. It drives me crazy whan people insist that they don't have an air leak, so they chase gohst problems, and fi d out it was an air leak the whole time lol
