Johnny, it would be better if you started your own thread about this issue. 1, notice the date of OP, it's buried in the past. 2, you need to keep to your own thread with issues. You need to lock the lock nut to the cone nut to keep the cone nut from moving to be too loose or tight. Also the axle nut needs to be tight to prevent slippage in the slot. A washer to create more contact surface around the axle nut is better than none.
Done and done...I have moved it and created its own thread for the OP.

I am...lol...I have four of my own that I rescued over the years when they were feral and wild...lol...And we are not even counting the still feral and wild outdoor cats I continue to feed because animal control are totally useless in my town.
