Thanks chainmaker. I've already learned a lot by just lurking and reading on this forum. I bought a 4 stroke kit with 49cc HS for a good price but it came with a hoot transmission. I have switched over to a 4g t belt trans after reading about all the hoot problems. I have a Schwinn Landmark cruiser that I plan to put this into. Still working out the details but slowly getting all the pieces together so I can start.

I'm building a new mb that can take 2 or 4 stroke, using a 78mm gearbox. Would it be allowed? Mike

Hi Mike,

It must be powered by a 4-stroke motor to enter the "4-Stroke Build-Off".

Thanks for the recommendation. I placed updated text and my pics in the 4-Stroke / 2012 In Frame 4-Stroke Buildoff thread.

Opinions how to improve my build are welcomed from anyone! I hope to see some more details and pics.
