This seems to be an alternative to friction drive and maybe my bike would be able to use it. Just replace the brake disc with a sprocket and hope theres enough room for the chain. I think I have a 36 tooth or 38 tooth 6 hole sprocket laying around. Any 76mm clutch engine should work.

Will that's interesting, never seen that before. Priced right, wonder what connects those to drive gears in the tranny box. Chain, belt or gears. Is that the same tranny on HT kits? Is it a reliable tranny?

I found one that I had from a mini chopper, needs a new gasket and nut for the clutch bell and new bolts since I lost them. I tried taking it apart but I think you put gear oil in these. Looks more reliable than the tiny chain drive components.

That's a different tranny from the looks of it, right?

I had one similar to the kit gearbox but its for 415 chain it was on a huasheng it was junk the shaft kept pulling out because there's nothing stopping it from sliding out except a key it would walk about 3/8 inch almost coming out

Had an idea that was the case, wasn't sure. So with the kit on Ebay a new tranny would be needed.

It would still bolt to a gx50 or the mitsu clone since the cag engines use the same clutch diameter It is adjustable to get the right alignment since it has the u bracket with 3 bolts like my friction drive kit.

If my friction drive kit doesn't work I'll probably pull the trigger on this kit. Do you think the disc brake could be swapped with a sprocket? Here is the bike
