I've been building this type of engine mounts for years, they are now available commercially. Except mine just use a flat plate and a muffler clamp and cost $5.

I personally like the cnc tipe, and I managed to make one with scrap parts laying around. It's amazing what people can do with a file and drill if they put their minds to it.
