Colder than a well digger's....and I found 1/2 a pony!

Went to 1500 grit on the countertop (don't tell the wife) and annealed the aluminum gasket. She's not leaking, now. Outta the box, oh my! Whereas the little flying horse has been spot on reliable outta the box, this 49mm needed a pile of head work and gasket work just to pull itself down the road! Only paid $80 shipped, so who can complain?
That's ten times the grit I use, all I've ever needed was 150. Every so often I'll throw in on some 320, but that's it. 100-150 takes the meat off quicker.

I've taken to shaping aluminum as almost a nervous habit around the shop. Sure wish it didn't make my hands so dirty! Here's how I covered up the various holes left by the many tail lights I lost in the beginning...and yes, I realize it ain't quite centered!
