Basket case build

Got a basket case bike for next to nothing I'm trying to keep the budget low Around 100$.

Originly was going for a cafe build but did a quick 180 and decided to go with a early motorcycle style build.

Stay tuned ill post daily with updates. I should have a pile of parts waiting for me when I get home.

Hey, is that tank made of a box tube? If so where did you get it? HD? That's a good idea, I might have to steal it at some point.

Yep I work for a structural steel company anything thinner than an 1/8h is hard to find laying around. I used hss 4x3x1/8 it's way over kill but it will work.

Iv been calling it a day around 9pm. I dont want to piss the neiborhood off with all my grinding so should have more pictures around then.

Less noticeable progress it was more layout today than anythingelse, wife wanted me to grill so had a little less time to mess with it.

What brand is that speedometer? I have a nice one I got for cheap second hand that I hope is accurate
