so my dynamo is 12v is it possible to wire in some AA batteries that are chargeable up to 7 or 8 @ 1.5v each which is equivalent to 12v to keep the brake light and head light on at stop lights?

simple self charge set up operated by the tire.

I'm aware that both lights head and brake light are self grounded to by a screw or screws how ever, the single wore that goes from the head light to the generator and tail light to the generator are both positive...

would it be possible to inline the battery pack ground wire to the frame only.

In addition to this information I would like to install a positive t fitting between the head and tail light fallowed with switch inline to charge the as packs or isolate them when I feel it's charged enough.

brit motorcycles just used to put a zenor diode across hot wire to dump excess power when batt was full

Correction it's AC powered as well I have decided to run two separate circuits for turn signals.

Four led strips sitting in my mail box but here's one thing.

If I buy 12v 1.3w led bulbs will I need a resistor for my dynamo?

I managed to blow both my dynamo bulbs from vibration. I have spares but I won't use them standards are too cheap so my question is in regards to led bulbs.

friend of mind said I needed a resistor but how is that so?

I'm not specialized in lighting what so ever.
