My trailer wouldn't even get to 50 ALL the time! Most of the time, I did under 40mph, and with a helmet, and MUCH safer setup!!! I did manage to get 55mph with my new trailer with enough road, but only hit that speed just ONCE. Under 40 is much safer!

His would be safer if his trailer didn't wobble. After building several trailers, the wobble MUST be reduced/eliminated for safety! I won't go as far as calling him a complete idiot, but he really needs to improve his design, and slow down a bit!!!! I don't want to see him splattered all over the road, making MBikes look more dangerous then they should be.

BUT..........I have to give him props at the same time for making that machine able to go that fast. After watching that video, it's obvious he has a Honda Clone engine, Like I do, so why is he able to get 60+MPH??? Is his bigger than a 6.5? It looks just like a 6.5, I wonder if he hopped-up his engine with aftermarket performance parts??? I'm still amazed he could go that darn fast! ***EDIT, I see now why he's going over 60, he has a Comet TAV on his engine! Whoa!***

I really hope he just went that fast to shoot his video! I would NEVER, EVER, go fast like that on a crowded road with no helmet! THAT'S CRAZY!!! I hope he rides at more reasonable speeds most of the time. He won't last long going 60 for very long on that wobbly thing! NEEDS A HELMET!!!

I think that some of those 6.5 clones put out more than they are rated for. I had a 6.5 clone on a tote gote type "HEAVY" trail bike with a tractor rear tire and guess what. With I is nearly impossible to drive in low gear as the bike will flip over. I think that he hit his speed due to his wheel size. You would need to get a smaller rear sprocket for your rear. LOL I don't think that one is available.

i agree here.his rear wheel is huge.thats were his speed comes from.

Thanks, I'm still here, just struggling with places to live for now. (staying with different friends) It's been VERY rough, VERY long story, but I'm happy to be ok for now. Being homeless on a bicycle sucks, and there's lots of evil people out there that like to shout at and throw things at bicyclists here, but I'm still doing fine, and staying safe. I REALLY MISS riding with my motor........

I'm selling my trailer, and my bicycle, most likely parting it out. The famous 6.5Hp engine that started it all, with over 8000 miles total, I'm getting rid of it for only $80. It saddens me to do this, but I'm concentrating on getting a drivers license. I plan on building a 3-wheel motorcycle with a body on it to use as a "car" with proper motorcycle tag and registration, and I'm scrapping my 1986 Toyota Celica to do this, again, which saddens me, but must be done.

thats something that makes me half curious actually.... a 3 wheeled car "motorcycle" just like the little trex or whatever its called with the kawi.
 
We'll see what the future brings. If someone can get 60Mph with a small 1-cylinder engine on a bicycle, why stop with bicycles..............

I think that it goes that fast with such a small engine because it is a bicycle and light as ever.

Think of this though, with gearing, the possibilities are endless. If he hit 62 mph with a single gear He would get there much faster and go faster with 2 or even 3 gears. LOL Don't mind me though, I am just having fun. I don't want anyone going faster than 62 on a bike.

FYI: I just killed a very annoying mosquito that have been bothering me.:mad:
