Cleaner burning 2 stroke engines...

Yes an electric powered bike would be nice..quiet..silent movement...but the sound of an internal combustion engine , a two stroke or a V8 ,with a muffled or straight open exhaust system, and the knowledge and appreciation of all the mechanical parts within that make it work, be it the Chinese two strokes or the engines in the aircraft of WW11.....is...like...maybe a religious experiance......and "Global Warming",,CO2 a toxic gas ..come on

And all of a sudden your a "V8 guy"? Uh huh

As i said pointless debating with a person with your attitude towards electrics, you refuse to accept any facts presented too you. But thats cool yur set in your ways and change is hard for some of you old timers :p

You only need to search forums on Endless Sphere to see my outspoken thoughts on electric cars and motorcycles it isnt a "new thing" pal...I often ruffle feathers of the greenies on ES when they push the electric car concept. I raced and won junior state championships on ICE bikes i have owned 11second V8 cars SO yes genious i AM a petrol head, i will one last time say, i only use electric now in my trike as it is far superior than any other offering..I LOVE acceleration, these ****y 48cc motors couldnt pull a foreskin back ...as to you 200watt remark about laws in Oz i and the rest here that have been riding about for the last 12 months on 1000watt PLUS rides will continue to do so my latest build will have 7000watt brushless motor ;-P ..., i been in arrested more than once and care little if it happens again, chances of it happening where i live nill and **** all though :p
FYI i can't pedal im paraplegic (ICE motorcycle accident in 1992) which will be advantageous for once if the ebikes are banned which of course wont happen, seeing my trike is used as a MOBILITY SCOOTER which have NO LIMIT ON ENGINE SIZE just a capped top sped and forbidden use on the road which again doesnt affect me i can get everywhere i need to get up here on cycle path... so happy pedalling to you my friend when you **** poor powered engine is banned :) Electric is coming like it or not and it will be withing your lifetime, Chevy have there first mass produced fully electric car being released next year....expect other major manufactures to follow suit.

Have a nice day :)

28 Cylinder, 4 Banks, 4500 Hp, Center Mount??

They have a cutaway of a B-29 engine with an electric motor driving it (slowly) at the air museum in Tucson. I doubt I could center mount it, but just looking at all the moving parts drops your jaw and makes one wonder "How did they make that?". The Merlins and Allisons (P-38 and P-51) aren't any slouches either. Spiritual at the very least. 8O) =

All losses included, Jim, it's much more efficient to use electric, and much better for the environment. Not that I'm rushing out to build an e-bike... there's just too many other issues with 'em. Engineering practice just hasn't caught up to engineering theory yet.

aussi yes I am old and do love the big motors with big horsepower...I am on this forum to learn not to argue with you people....Electric for you and others...ICE for me...I have printed out the pics of your E-Trike and have been studying them....the look and the overall geometry of the frame is structurally strong and looks great..I am planning to build one like it......BUT....I will be spending my money not on an electric motor but will be looking for an older 4stroke motorcycle motor to install....checking out a CB Honda 350 tomorrow...that thing is going to cook.....do your thing...ride on....be safe..if you run over one of those Kangaroo things send me the hide

Electrons to the rescue

OK, I am convinced. Just solve the extension cord problem and we can eliminate those nasty chemical electron storage thingies. Oh, yes those things, what will it take to recycle them when they turn toes up? Lots of toxic stuff to make safe from the water and the air. Wonder what that adds in efficiency? Not to worry, Gilbert is uphill from Glendale. ) In theory I agree with you, but it is hard to ride a theory.

Wow, you're a real outlaw there jester. :ROFLMAO:

Typical - you love restrictive laws when it is eliminating something you personally don't like, but you ignore laws when you personally don't agree with them.

I bet the cops automatically call in reinforcements when they pull you over on your 1000 Watt (Plus lol) rides.

In any case, you've made such a *cough* convincing argument *cough* for electric equipment that I am going to discard my ICE powered tools and go buy electric. Al Gore will be so proud of me! :giggle:

Have a Great Day Jester :)
