Except the hills, which are a stark reminder that I'm not a spring chicken.Tbh I sometimes forget how fun it is to run around on a normal bicycle

Yes that’s what I hate where I live everywhere out of where I live is a fat hill and then after I am perfectly fineExcept the hills, which are a stark reminder that I'm not a spring chicken.
True enough but sometimes it is easier to just push the thing.I love my low gears. 150 cadence going 5 mph. Archimedes once said: give me a lever long enough and I will move the whole world.
For the cost of a 4 stroke kit you can buy two 2 stroke kits and have lots of parts. For the most part it is either up or down where I'm at. That's the point of the motor for me.
I love the simplicity of the CG motors but as we know they require a lot of love . I guess there is no easy answer, a four stroker with it's jack shaft assembly or an ebike with it's expensive battery and complex electronics.
I'm on the side of the CG motors for the overall cost of repair and replacement. I suppose I should mention the ease of recycling, not much to them, aluminium, steel and a couple ounces of copper. Same as the four strokers.
Get a genuine honda and you can run 10% ethanol fuel worry free. Good for guys who can't find ethanol free. Closet station to me that sells it is a mfa oil three towns over. For the cost of a 4 stroke kit you can buy two 2 stroke kits and have lots of parts.
