P85 piston and cylinder replacement kit

Well my replacement piston and cylinder arrives today, is there anything I should do/check before replacing the old one? In general to the whole engine, please lmk I want to get back to riding already but I don’t wanna over look or miss something I was supposed to tighten, adjust, replace/check . Like always thanks in advance

If the engine is off the bike, make sure to rinse it out with some clean mixed gas before you put it back together. Oil your rings and con rod.
