Inexpensive Electric motorized bicycle parts

Stopping my 60 lb bike takes noticeably more braking than my road bike. If you're bike ends up over 100lbs..... to me you should just get a scooter. Bicycles handle like **** when they are super heavy.

I got my motor and controller and throttle from TNC scooters. Cheap 450w 36v geared motor strapped to the frame to drive my freewheel cranks. Has enough torque using my 26th gear in back to climb moderate hills on only 450w. And the 13 tooth top gear is perfect for what this motor can handle on the flats. Faster than 28mph and I'm coasting.

check out batterygeek on ebay for cheap SLAs... I'm so far impressed with the 12ah one's I got.
