Cutting Auto Disc Brakes for clutch?

I would be more inclined to cut the segregations between the pads and make new pads that are four segments long. It would then have 4 pads, more contact area.

wear a dust mask and eye protection. Its very fine metal dust and da chit gets everywhere

full metalic works better for clutch pads then semi metalic. should be able to get almost all of them from 1 car pad

That's what I was thinking too. Don't know if it would work better but it would be easier to make. Four big ones vs 15 small.
Curious to see what happens. Sounds like a nasty job at any rate.
