So I don't understand why nobody has never mentioned this, because it seems certain big dogs like RDM Customs, https://rdmanu.com/ provide some of th best pads in the market.

So here's the deal. Why the heck hasn't anybody gone about cutting ceramic/metalic pads of an actual automobile disc brake? The reason I ask is because it seems like not only would it be more efficent. But with the right depth, diameter and proper tools to machine cut them or by hand I'd assume you would have an infinite supply!

Who Agrees? You can reasonably by a cheap pair of auto pads for $15 plus. https://www.oreillyauto.com/shop/b/...pads/a99314144bb6?q=brake+pads&sort=price+asc

I don't think anyone has come up with a disk rotor for our bikes that would be able to withstand ceramic metallic brake pads made for automobile purposes like the ones you are purposing...I don't think the bicycle rotors that are available right now would have any longevity to them at all using those pads.

Ps...I had to replace my rotors after just two weeks of using regular semi-metallic pads made for our disk brake setups...I went back to organic pads after that little fiasco.

Just poking around. But if you take a moment to look at this with a RDM custom clutch plate logically I can see this working as they're heavier plates. I'm just really wondering what the material is. https://rdmanu.com/products/hard-clutch-pads-10-pack

Do you believe they will wear faster, or the opposite the plate?

Here's some hyped about green pads on Amazon:

Did you read the customer reviews on that link???...lol...Not very good doing business with RDM...Just saying.
Thats why i want to do it myself. Their on the sh1t list along with Zeda Mafia which are in jail for mail fruads.

I'm only intrested in their clutch plate, seems like their producing the same plate for bikeberry.com Just without the stamp of RDM.

Damien, are you talking about our bike's Disc BRAKE rotors or clutch pads the author is taking about?

BOTH...He is thinking about using ceramic metallic brake pads from an automobile but I do not think our type of disk rotors are capable of handling them for any length of time without experiencing extreme wear and tear in a very short time.

As far as his second choice of the RDM clutch pads, I have no idea as it seems from the reviews on his own site, they are not even getting delivered once they are ordered and paid for....lol.
