Here you find a building log various modifications to the Cmb Minarelli. I will be posting several photos to see the progress.

Tonight I will be porting the bottom crank end. Top end cylinder was ported by hand previously. This is completely a Wildcat PK 80 bottom end. The same which you see off classic Skyhawks.

I will be opening the wells for fuel transfer then sanding out roughness and polishing off with some Dremel work

Almost perfect needs a little more work then the cylinder well areas will be opened up more for the bottoms fuels transfer.

Got a little too close to the case and had a pinhole leak. Welded. First time with a MiG... Huge learning experience. Now soaking yo clean all the metal shavings with fuel.

You know you don't have to trench out the case that much to port match to your adaptor plate. You only have to smooth out the transition area a bit to improve air flow.
Yeah lol but if it works just imagine even better flow. We shall see lol.

Call this excessive but this is ceramic coating, high temp. I dunno if this would help with heat displacement but who knows.

Ordered 46-48mm hone to hone the cylinder after work tomorrow.

Pistons drop fine but this is to make sure break-in is extra smooth. From what I read it helps with the seizes between Aliminum pistons to cast iron. It will be a bit excessive to oil and sand her but it's probably worth it.
