Max RPM listed as 3600. Have any of you removed the govenor? I've seen the u-tube video. I know this engine is balanced (to some degree) and should be safe to maybe 5000 rpm. Your personal experience or thoughts will be helpful in determing a final gear ratio.

The flywheel is what makes them dangerous at high rpms. Get an aluminum flywheel for it and it should be fine to rev higher

Not cheap, but it's better than detonating the stock flywheel right next to your leg

I have not bought the engine yet and I did watch the video of the exploding flywheel. Something to definitely think about!

So speed wise what is your realistic expectations of the 79cc Predator???

I think mid to high 20s would be enough to scare me on this little OCC frame. I haven't even started looking at speed charts yet until I can measure the circumference of the Fat Tire.

Lots of speed charts just use the diameter. So, 20" would be enough to scare you.
