That starting price is way too cheap.... too good to be true? I guess there are 8 days for it to be brought up to market in the $2-3K range. We shall see. Granted it is is missing many parts that are critical including the clutch lever, compression release, and thumb throttle controls / cable.

UPDATE before posting... did some research and I am going to bet this is a repop 52 Columbia RX5 bike. They sell these days for under $500. Add a $500 H whizzer motor and you have a $1000 bike.

Yep that's a 1986 repop of the 1949 Columbia 5 Star Superb

I see one on E bay for $300 and yep they sell as high as $500

$300 Bicycle and $500 worth of Whizzer parts = $800
Incomplete - missing hand controls and cables and probably something else - not running
3 bids and the highest bidder is at $813
It ain't going much higher than that

Also the rear of the frame needs dimpling because I can see the belt is gonna rub

coaster brake I can see the brake arm

But those wheels need to be upgraded anyways, unless someone just buys it for a wall hanger (decoration piece)

I have heard these repos are not great builds.. mostly for show. Nothing like an original baloon tire Coumbia bike.
