No, it's not really. The opening is 35mm, but about 10mm of that (5mm per side) is solid metal that the crush gasket sits against, making the true outlet size about 25mm. The Phantom pipe inside diameter is 28mm, thus it is a little bit bigger.

Yeah, it was quite expensive. It's worth it if you ask me. You pay twice as much for twice the power, and more potential for power down the road.

The biggest appeal to me is that it comes with an alternator and starter stock.

That was a big thing for me too. I take a zero hour class and I'm usually to school before the sun even thinks about peeking out. I bought it mainly so I could wire head and tail lights up.
