It's an old 50's lawn mower tank w/cylindrical shape. Rusted, dented, but clean on the inside.

First, I like the all black engine look with that bike. Second, the gas tank is killer! I'd been considering the Schwinn 700c Hybrid, but after seeing your bike I will rethinking the moon dog and save $150. Nice job!

Thankx. I just went over to Pep Boys and picked up the High heat w/ceramic engine paint 1200 degree. Only a few bucks. The cheap stuff (Dupli-color) It's actually good stuff.
