Motorized Western Flyer

After a couple of years on my mountain bike, my motor kit has been transplanted to my 1976 Western Flyer, made by Murray.
I added a springer fork and front drum brake wheel from an industrial trike.
I remounted the seat very low for comfort at the stop lights. I bobbed the fenders and added a rear caliper brake on the chain stays so that I don't have to use a coaster brake. Bullet head and tail lights have been converted to battery powered LEDs.

Nice build! This is the first time I've seen a bike with the rear caliper mounted on the chainstays as opposed to the seat stays. Any challenges with that installation?

Just had to reposition it a few times due to interference with the crank arms and chain.
My flyer has a crossmember in that location that I could use to mount the brake.
You can use metal plates above and below the stays if you do not have a crossmember there. I got the idea from another member that had mounted his brake that way.
