Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd share an enclosure I made for my cdi and killswitch.

Pictures are pretty self explanitory although I will ad a few notes -

-Box is a (jiffy) type hobbiest box

-Completed, not much larger than cdi unit

-Switch, on/off...I wanted a switch that was low profile and had a easy action.

I'll post another pic when It's back on the bike.

Very nice. I like it. I see the possibility of using a keyed switch and gluing the case shut so it can't be opened easily to bypass the key switch.

I like it!

Or for this one a keyed master switch on the other side

great Idea Skliner70cc

i like it i think i'm gonna copy you hope you don't mind i'll use a keyed switch too

Very nice!!! I think Im going to do the same with mine. Ive been wanting to put in a proper kill switch and adding a real keyswitch really sounds like a good idea.

I just bought a keyed switch from maplins (kin of like radio shack in the US) for £2.70, only 30p more than a toggle switch! I was looking for a good mounting solution and this looks like a very good solution. Nice and clean install, looks great.

Thanks guys,

Here it is mounted.

atm I dont need a key switch but will definately fit one later.

I also hard wired the mag to the switch/cdi...no crappy connectors

Oh I forgot,

Where the box meets the tube , I put a strip of double sided tape.

No movement. I'm very pleased with it :D

Attached is a simple diagram.

I dont like the Idea of grounding the magneto to kill it, so I just cut the power.
