Rectangular Ports To Round..?????
Just a quick question.....I know that air flow through the motor is important... But my DAX65 has a retangular exhaust port flowing into a round exhaust pipe...Has anyone run into this problem...Did you make any modes...Just by looking at the two you can sure tell that this would be a for sure turbulant area....

The port is supposed to be Rectangular in the cylinder. The shape is to accommodate the necessity to open quickly. As the piston moves down it uncovers all at once, the shape just continues to the outer edge. These engines are not high performance so if you were to match the ports you would not notice much difference. Have fun, Dave
