i need a write up. this manual is no good!

Well you can always sticky the good threads but there's just too many.
You can also index the good threads and that can take time...
I remembered when I was putting my engine together when I did that search as to why I couldn't physically turn that engine sprocket is my engine seized lol and couldn't find the answer as to how to adjust the clutch I PM'ed Augi and he sent me in the right direction. Then when I realised adjusting a clutch is just like adjusting your brakes I got a warm feeling inside.
So just a thought, here. Maybe if we can invite newbies to PM moderators or even other members if they can't find what they're looking for and cannot post in any thread until they post in the introduction thread first?

i'm totally calm...there's no evidence of self-help here, so all i'm doing is steering him straight. a complaint about lack of instructions isn't exactly a technical issue, is it? is there anything in my post that isn't true, or is it just that it surprises people these days when someone expects someone else to do for themself?

understand that when i moderate, i look at the number of posts, where they were posted, and the quality of the posts...it seems to me that a lot of new (happy-time) folks could better spend their initial time here searching for basic H-T info, which we DO have in abundance.

and: there's a censoring issue here that's between me and the OP, he'll completely understand the message.
Admin, I'm sure I'm totally wrong as always, but one's first impression of your forum here is not a good one due to you or one of your gestapos jumping on people right from the start and belittling them and talking to them like they are children. If it's such a miserable job running this forum, maybe you should find something else to occupy your time. Your responses to simple posts from people asking for help are rather disturbing. I always search before I ask and rarely does what I'm looking for come up. And do you honestly think a person should spend months reading several thousand posts before daring to make a post? You called the guy that simply asked for a manual a complainer. The only one I truly see complaining here is you. True, your forum probably has the most traffic and posts, but that could easily change gradually. There are other forums that are super friendly from the start and don't treat people like dogs and aren't totally obsessed with military-like organization in every way. I'll bet the screws in all your light switches are turned vertically and all your socks are rolled a certain way, right?

Another thread going way off topic again.PLEASE STOP !!! Where did this manual is no good go?

highwayman, if you like the way the 'other' forums work...
feel free to go there and leave us to our well run/organized site
you have 11 posts, and think you can tell us how to do things ???
we have put many long hours getting to where we are, and there is a method to our madness that you don't apparently get

now ...can we please get back on-topic ???

I totally agree, the Yong Xing Happy Time engine kit from ebay have terrible instructions. If you still need help on installation of the kit heres a few links to other websites that give much more detailed instructions.

Dax (MBc sponsor)- http://thatsdax.com/INSTALL_INSTRUCTIONS.html

Spooky Tooth (you may need to register) - http://www.spookytoothcycles.com/content/view/111/127/

Transformer Cycles (this is a variant to the happy time called the starfire)
http://www.transformercycles.com/starfire gt2 installation instructions final.htm

Kings Motorbikes (has a good maintenance guide too)
http://www.kingsmotorbikes.com/FA_Q.htm

Good luck with your builds! Hope this helps:)
