I need help, Where to start?
I have 2 bicycles, and two 50cc scooters that I could use for parts.
I would like to build a motored bike.
1 motor is off of a go-ped and one of from a cheap pocketbike.
The goped engine's chain goes off of the right side of the bike.
The pocketbike engine's chain goes off of the left side of the bike. (Not sure if this really matters though.)
I would like to dismantle my go-ped scooter and reuse the parts for the bike. I think that I would want to mount the engine above the rear tire and use a chain system. I don't think I would have to buy a lot of parts since I have a working scooter already, maybe just a sprocket and a chain.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would guess I need some kind of mount, sprocket and chain. Do they sell kits or do I have to build everything?

I believe that in polite society, one walks up to a crowd of strangers and starts by introducing oneself. I'm Alaskavan. You can find out a little about me by searching for Alaskavan and reading my introduction. Oh, welcome to MBc.

Sorry 'bout that. I guess I need some sleep. Apparently getting a bit cranky.
