Large tube on the botton

This bike has a large tube on the botton any ideas on how to install without drilling a hole in the frame. I have seen some people use a large U bolt. Anyone try this, and will the engine even fit in this frame. How much room do I need? Also, has anyone ever worked with this bike?

Believe it or not, but I have made the standard mounts fit an over sized tube without having to drill the frame...Originally I took a ball peen hammer and indented the tubes so the factory studs would fit in the grooves made by the peening of the hammer....on later installations I bought a very large C-Clamp and crimp the over sized tubes as needed for the studs to clear (more control using this as opposed to the hammer method....You may still have to use a grinder to enlarge the mounting brackets a little tho.
