got the Hornet done in one week, went out last night, started right up, smoothed out and rode great. I was pleasantly surprised that it was much smoother than I thought (I used rubber tubes around the frame where it mounts). It was also quieter than i thought. From the discussion here I was expecting a whiney weedeater chainsaw sound, but it was more like my Kawasaki 100. I took it easy, used half throttle and still got up to 18-20mph. Which on a fifty four year old bike is plenty fast. The old Schwinn didn't know what hit it. I have ordered an original Rocket Ray headlight, to go along with the O.E.M springer front. I had the wheels redone and replaced three missing spokes.
I did drop a master link coming into my driveway, was able to find one at lunch today so should be back on the road tonight!
I am still having trouble getting pictures to download, Tom says it is the software changover or something. I will keep trying and will post them in the pictures section.

congrats on the smiles...
