    Default 05 Whizzer

    Hello,

I recently purchased a 05 Whizzer from a guy I know. The only question or issue I am having with it, is that when ever I come to a complete stop, the engine dies. I figure it would at least idle. I am new to the Motor Bike world, so I am not sure how it is supposed to work. Any answers would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

does this model have a manual or auto clutch?

you might need to increase your idle speed.

I think its a manual clutch. It has a hand clutch that if you pull basically puts the bike in neutral by letting tension off the belt so no force is on the engine when pedaling or stopping.

increase your idle speed a little. I'm not sure how on the whizzer. Maybe the throttle cable has some aadjustment.

    Default Whizzer Idle

with the clutch in warm it might idle a little fast, if you want good idle when cold. The small brass slotted screw near the air-cleaner is mixture, the larger one (in the path of the slide, both on left) is the idle speed, all my whizzers idle well, Mike
