Ontario/ canadian Laws on Motor Assisted Bikes

Does any one know what canadian Laws or Ontario specifically , stands with regards to motor assisted bicycles

Well I know that in Saskatchewan the law states that they are to be treated the same as motorbikes therefore they require lights and you to have a helmet. As for Ontario CBC.ca ( I cant yet post a link sorry ) has a good article on E bikes I can only assume its the same rules.


But the best person to ask would be a rep from you local motorcycle insurance issuer.
